Now Foods Selenium – 200 µg of selenium in one vegetarian capsule

Now Foods Selenium is a food supplement with 200 µg of selenium as L-selenomethionine in each vegetarian capsule. Selenomethionine is a form of the amino acid methionine in which selenium takes the place of the sulphur atom. One capsule provides 364% of the nutrient reference value for selenium. The daily dose is one capsule with a meal and the bottle contains 90 capsules, so one pack lasts for three months. According to the manufacturer, the product is made without yeast and the vegetarian capsules are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. The formula is simple: besides selenomethionine, the capsule contains only rice flour and fatty acids of vegetable origin.
