OstroVit Pharma PRO-60 BIOTIC LactoSpore® – live bacterial cultures and inulin in capsules

OstroVit Pharma PRO-60 BIOTIC LactoSpore® is a food supplement in capsule form containing live cultures of Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 under the LactoSpore® trademark, together with inulin derived from chicory. Each capsule provides 1 × 10⁹ CFU, or one billion colony-forming units, of the Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 strain and 40 mg of inulin. The recommended daily dose is one capsule, so a pack of 60 capsules lasts two months. The product belongs to the OstroVit Pharma line and is intended for adults who want to supplement their diet with these ingredients. Bacillus coagulans and inulin

Bacillus coagulans is a lactic acid-producing bacterium that was formerly also known as Lactobacillus sporogenes. Unlike many other bacterial cultures, it forms spores (endospores) – dormant forms protected by a shell. Thanks to this, the bacteria tolerate high temperatures and acidic conditions well and remain stable during manufacturing and storage. LactoSpore® is the trademark of the Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 strain; according to the manufacturer, it is a vegan raw material.

Inulin is a plant polysaccharide made up of more than 30 simple sugar molecules linked in an unbranched chain. In plants, inulin serves as a storage carbohydrate, and chicory root is a rich source of it – the inulin in this product also comes from chicory. Each capsule contains 40 mg of inulin.

How to use?

Take one capsule a day after a meal. The capsule is small and easy to swallow. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you also use other food supplements containing bacterial cultures or inulin, take their amounts into account. Taking the capsule at the same time every day, for example after breakfast or lunch, helps you remember it. At the recommended use, one pack lasts 60 days, or about two months.
