Syntrax AeroBottle, Primus Crystal Shaker 800ml

Syntrax AeroBottle Primus Crystal – a clear shaker cup and water bottle in one

Syntrax AeroBottle Primus Crystal is a slender, ultra-transparent bottle that combines the sleek shape of a water bottle with the functionality of a shaker cup. The manufacturer describes it as a hybrid that works both for mixing protein shakes and for carrying plain water with you. The bottle is designed for everyday use – at the gym, outdoors or at the office. According to the manufacturer, AeroBottle is a good companion for all Syntrax products, for example protein powders mixed with water or milk.

Plant-based biopolymer and mixing without a ball

The bottle is made of Magnifizen, a plant-based biopolymer, and according to the manufacturer it is BPA free. The material is crystal clear, so you can easily see the contents of the bottle and how evenly the drink is mixed. A distinctive feature of AeroBottle is Turbulent Mixing Technology (TMT): there is no mixing ball, spring or grate inside, and the drink is mixed simply by shaking. According to the manufacturer, this blends even the thickest ingredients evenly. As there are no separate mixing parts, there are also fewer parts to wash.

How to use?

Pour liquid (for example water or milk) into the bottle and add protein powder or another drink powder. Screw the rubberized screw cap and lid on tightly and shake the bottle until the mixture is smooth. Thanks to the leak-proof design, you can carry the bottle in your gym bag or take it to work. The multi-position finger loop lets you carry the bottle comfortably with one finger. If you use it as a regular water bottle, fill it with water and take it along to training, on a walk or to the office. After use, rinse the bottle and cap and wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher or by hand.

Who is it for?

AeroBottle Primus Crystal suits people who regularly mix protein shakes or other powdered drinks and want the same bottle to work as an everyday water bottle too. It is a good choice for those who take a drink to the gym, as well as for those who carry water with them at the office or outdoors. The transparent material appeals to those who want to see how much drink is left in the bottle and whether the powder has mixed properly. Since there is no ball or grate, the bottle suits those who prefer a simple design and quick washing.

Colours and care

At Sportlab, Syntrax AeroBottle Primus Crystal is available in two colours: black and purple. According to the manufacturer, the bottle can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher. Rinse the bottle and cap right after use, especially if it held milk or a protein shake, and let the parts air-dry before reassembling. This way the bottle is ready for its next use.
