OstroVit CLA 1000 – conjugated linoleic acid in softgel capsules

OstroVit CLA 1000 is a food supplement in soft gelatin capsules, each capsule containing 1000 mg of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) ethyl ester. Of this, 80%, or 800 mg, is CLA. The pack contains 180 capsules, which last 60 days at the recommended use of one capsule three times a day. Three capsules provide a total of 3000 mg of CLA ethyl ester per day, of which 2400 mg is CLA. The product is developed and made by the Polish food supplement manufacturer OstroVit, whose products, according to the manufacturer, are regularly tested in an independent accredited laboratory.

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)

CLA, or conjugated linoleic acid, is an unsaturated fatty acid with 18 carbon atoms in its chain and two conjugated double bonds. It differs from ordinary linoleic acid in that its double bonds are separated by only one single bond – a structure that is rare in nature. In food, CLA occurs mainly in products of animal origin, such as milk and dairy products, meat products and eggs. Besides food, CLA can also be obtained from food supplements. OstroVit CLA 1000 contains conjugated linoleic acid in the form of an ethyl ester, exactly 1000 mg in each capsule.

How to use?

Take one capsule three times a day, preferably after a meal, and swallow it whole with water. The daily dose is therefore three capsules. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. It makes sense to spread the capsules over the day, for example after breakfast, lunch and dinner, so that each capsule is taken after a meal. At the recommended use, one 180-capsule container lasts 60 days.
