Amix Tribusten – Tribulus terrestris and six botanical ingredients in capsules

Amix Tribusten is a food supplement that combines seven botanical ingredients: Tribulus terrestris extract, saw palmetto, muira puama, ginseng, pumpkin and oat extracts, and cordyceps. The main ingredient is Tribulus terrestris extract standardised to a 40% content of steroidal saponins – a five-capsule serving contains 2000 mg of it. The serving also provides 300 mg of saw palmetto berry extract, 250 mg of muira puama extract, 250 mg of ginseng, 200 mg of pumpkin extract, 150 mg of oat extract and 100 mg of cordyceps. The product is taken as 3–5 capsules a day for up to 8 weeks in a row, followed by a 4-week break. The package contains 125 vegetable capsules, i.e. 25 five-capsule servings, net weight 100 g.

Botanical ingredients

Tribulus terrestris is a low-growing annual plant found in warm, dry regions; the extract is made from the whole plant. Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) is a low palm growing in the south-eastern part of North America, and the extract made from its fruits is standardised to a 25% fatty acid content. Muira puama (Ptychopetalum olacoides) is a small tree from the Amazon rainforest, and a concentrated 4:1 extract is made from its wood. Ginseng (Panax ginseng) is a plant native to East Asia whose root is used; in this product it is standardised to a 25% ginsenoside content. Pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo) fruit extract and oat (Avena sativa) seed extract are both concentrated at a 10:1 ratio. Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) is a fungus found in the high mountains of Asia; in this product it is standardised to 7% cordycepic acid.

How to use?

Take 3–5 capsules a day before your workout. On non-training days, take the daily amount in the morning with a meal. Use the product for up to 8 weeks in a row and then take a 4-week break. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you also use other food supplements containing Tribulus terrestris or ginseng, take their amounts into account. Depending on the daily amount, one container of 125 capsules lasts 25–41 days.

Amix Tribusten is suitable for adults who train regularly and want to use Tribulus terrestris extract together with other botanical ingredients in one product. Flexible dosing makes it possible to adapt the amount to training and rest days. Do not use the product during pregnancy or breastfeeding; it is not recommended for women of childbearing age or for individuals of either sex before puberty. The product is not intended for children. The composition includes oat seed extract – oats are a cereal containing gluten. Ingredients and storage

The capsule contents consist of Tribulus terrestris extract, saw palmetto fruit extract, muira puama wood extract, ginseng root, pumpkin fruit extract, oat seed extract and cordyceps. The capsule shell is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, purified water and the colour calcium carbonate. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (Methocel®) is used as a stabiliser, and magnesium salts of fatty acids and silicon dioxide as anti-caking agents. The product may contain traces of milk, eggs, soy and crustaceans. The package contains 125 capsules, net weight 100 g. Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C in a dry place away from sunlight, and protect from frost.
