Amix ZMA – zinc, magnesium and vitamin B6 in a vegetable capsule

Amix ZMA is a food supplement containing the ZMA® blend: zinc, magnesium and vitamin B6. Zinc is present as L-monomethionine sulphate (L-OptiZinc®) and L-aspartate, magnesium as magnesium citrate and magnesium oxide, and vitamin B6 as pyridoxine hydrochloride. ZMA® is a zinc and magnesium combination developed by SNAC Systems, Inc. The recommended daily dose is 2 capsules, containing 1600 mg of the ZMA® blend: 20 mg of zinc (200% of the nutrient reference value), 300 mg of magnesium (80%) and 7 mg of vitamin B6 (500%). The package contains 90 vegetable capsules – 45 daily doses.

What is ZMA?

ZMA is an abbreviation referring to the product's three nutrients: zinc (Zn), magnesium (Mg) and vitamin B6. Zinc is a trace element that the body needs in small amounts and that can be obtained, for example, from red meat, poultry, legumes and nuts. Magnesium is a macromineral; good dietary sources include whole-grain products, seeds, nuts and green leafy vegetables. Vitamin B6, or pyridoxine, is a water-soluble B vitamin that the body does not produce itself. In this product, zinc is present in two forms: as L-monomethionine sulphate, bound to the amino acid methionine, and as L-aspartate, bound to aspartic acid. Magnesium is also present in two forms – as citrate and as oxide.

How to use?

Take 2 capsules a day, preferably on an empty stomach 30–60 minutes before bedtime, with an adequate amount of water. The manufacturer recommends not taking ZMA with dairy products or other calcium-containing foods or supplements. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Vegetable magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide are used as anti-caking agents. The package contains 90 capsules, net weight 82.8 g.
