Now Foods Selenium is a food supplement with 100 µg of selenium as L-selenomethionine in each tablet. Selenomethionine is a form of the amino acid methionine in which selenium takes the place of the sulphur atom. One tablet provides 182% of the nutrient reference value for selenium. The manufacturer recommends taking one tablet once or twice a day with food; according to the EU label, the recommended daily dose is two tablets, or 200 µg of selenium (364% NRV).
