RDX W4 Wrist Support Wraps are a pair of wrist wraps for weightlifting and powerlifting. The wraps are wound around the wrist before a heavy set so that the wrist stays in a stable position during the exercise and the fit is firm. According to the manufacturer, the W4 wrist wraps are recognised by the International Power-lifting League (IPL) and the United States Power-lifting Association (USPA). The wraps belong to RDX's Weight Lifting Pro series and are suitable for versatile use – from weightlifting to gymnastics. The set contains two wraps, one for each wrist.

Wide cotton-blend wrap and Quick-EZ™ hook & loop closure

The W4 wraps are made from a heavy-duty, thick cotton blend that the manufacturer calls cotton-eglantine blended material. The wrap is wider and longer than usual, so it covers the wrist area broadly and can be wound around the wrist several times. How to use?

Put your thumb through the thumb loop and wrap the band tightly around your wrist. Fasten the end with the hook & loop closure and adjust the tension so that the wrist is supported but your fingers and hand move freely. Use the wraps mainly during heavier sets, for example bench presses, rack pulls and deadlifts. You can loosen the closure between sets. Read the instructions on the package before putting on or taking off the wraps. The manufacturer recommends always warming up properly before training and cooling down afterwards, and never exceeding a weight that matches your abilities.
