Kaged Creatine HCl – creatine hydrochloride powder, 75 servings

Kaged Creatine HCl is a food supplement whose only active ingredient is creatine hydrochloride (C-HCl), a compound of creatine and hydrochloric acid. Each pack contains 75–76 grams of powder, which makes 75 servings. One scoop provides 750 mg of creatine hydrochloride and the recommended daily amount is up to four scoops, i.e. 3000 mg. As one serving weighs only about one gram, a small amount of water is enough to mix it. The product is made in the United States and at Sportlab it is available in Fruit Punch and Lemon Lime flavours.

What is creatine hydrochloride?

Creatine is a substance that the body produces itself and also obtains from food, mainly from meat and fish. Food supplements most often use creatine monohydrate, whereas in Kaged Creatine HCl creatine is bound to hydrochloride. The creatine content of this compound is about 78%, so the recommended daily amount of 3000 mg creatine hydrochloride provides a calculated amount of approximately 2.3 g of creatine. The powder is flavoured with natural flavourings and sweetened: Fruit Punch with sucralose, Lemon Lime with steviol glycosides and sucralose. The product contains no other ingredients.

How to use?

For one serving, mix 1 scoop of powder with approximately 120–180 ml of water. According to the manufacturer, the powder can be taken on an empty stomach, with food or together with other Kaged products. If you are not using other creatine-containing products, drink 2 servings with 180–240 ml of water on training days – one before and one after your workout. On non-training days, take all 4 servings at once upon waking with 240–360 ml of water. Do not exceed the recommended daily amount (4 scoops) and drink enough water while using creatine.

Store the pack in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight, humidity and high temperatures, and close the lid tightly after use. Moisture may cause the powder to clump, but this does not affect the quality of the product.
