Now Foods Prostate Support is a food supplement in softgels that combines herbal extracts, pumpkin seed oil, lycopene, zinc and vitamin B6. Two softgels provide 160 mg of saw palmetto berry extract, 300 mg of stinging nettle root extract, 1 g of pumpkin seed oil, 3 mg of lycopene, 15 mg of zinc and 10 mg of vitamin B6. What do the softgels contain?

Saw palmetto is a low-growing palm native to the south-eastern United States whose berries are used to make an extract; in this product the extract is standardised to contain at least 85% fatty acids. Stinging nettle is a well-known plant, and the supplement uses an extract made from its root. Pumpkin seed oil is pressed from pumpkin seeds and makes up the largest part of the softgel content. Lycopene is a red carotenoid found, for example, in tomatoes; here it comes from the natural tomato extract LYC-O-MATO®. Zinc is added as zinc gluconate and vitamin B6 as pyridoxine hydrochloride.

How to use?

Take 2 softgels a day with food and swallow with a little water. The nutrition table is given per two softgels. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you also use other food supplements containing zinc or vitamin B6, such as multivitamins, take their amounts into account. Do not eat the freshness packet in the bottle.
