Power System Strong Femme – pink leather lifting belt for women

Power System Strong Femme is a leather powerlifting belt designed specifically for women and made for heavy training in the gym. The belt is 10 cm (4 inches) wide and 10 mm thick and fastens with a double prong stainless-steel buckle. According to the manufacturer, it is made of materials that feel soft and comfortable to wear, and reinforced rivets hold the parts of the belt firmly together. Strong Femme is suitable for squats, deadlifts, cleans and jerks, snatches and other lifts. The belt comes in a bright pink colour and Sportlab offers it in sizes XS, S and M.

Leather and double prong buckle

The main material of the belt is natural leather. According to the manufacturer, the leather holds its shape well and is resilient enough for tough workouts and competition preparation. The 10 mm thickness and 10 cm width along the whole belt give firm support to the abdominal and back area during lifts and are intended above all for serious powerlifting training. The belt fastens with a massive double prong buckle made of stainless steel: both prongs go into two holes at once, so the belt stays evenly tight around the body. The joints of the belt are fixed with rivets designed to keep the parts of the belt from coming apart under load.

How to use?

Place the belt around your waist so that the wide part sits over your back and abdomen. Tighten the belt to the desired firmness, push both prongs of the buckle into suitable holes and check that the belt is fastened evenly. The belt is most useful in heavy compound lifts such as squats, deadlifts, cleans and jerks and snatches. During lighter sets and warm-ups you can open the belt or loosen it. After training, put the belt in your gym bag – according to the manufacturer it fits there easily, so you can take it with you to every workout.

Sizes and care

Sportlab offers the belt in sizes XS, S and M. Choose the size according to your waist circumference: measure around the spot where the belt sits during training and choose the size according to the size chart of the manufacturer. For a leather product, it is usually enough to wipe the belt with a dry cloth after training and let it air dry. Store the belt in a dry place away from direct heat.
