Amix BetaTOR® Liquid SHOT – 3000 mg HMB in a ready-to-drink ampoule

Amix Nutrition BetaTOR® Liquid SHOT is a ready-to-drink liquid food supplement in a handy 60 ml ampoule. Each ampoule contains 3000 mg of HMB, or beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate, in free acid form, which the manufacturer uses under the BetaTOR® trademark, and 1000 mg of choline L-bitartrate under the VitaCholine® trademark. The product has a red berries flavour and is sweetened with the sweetener sucralose. The box holds 20 ampoules, or 20 daily doses, as the recommended daily dose is one ampoule. There is nothing to mix or dissolve: you can carry the ampoule in your gym bag, to work or on a trip and drink it whenever it is time.

HMB and choline

HMB, or beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate, is a compound that the body produces in small amounts from the essential amino acid leucine. HMB is usually sold as capsules or powder, whereas BetaTOR® Liquid SHOT contains HMB as a free acid in liquid form. One ampoule contains 3000 mg of HMB, so the whole daily amount comes in one small bottle.

Choline is a nutrient found naturally in, for example, egg yolk, fish, nuts and legumes. In this product choline is present as choline L-bitartrate under the VitaCholine® trademark. Each ampoule contains 1000 mg of VitaCholine®.

How to use?

Drink one ampoule (60 ml) before training. On non-training days, drink one ampoule in the morning. If you like, you can divide the daily dose into two equal servings: half an ampoule (30 ml) in the morning and the other half (30 ml) 30 minutes before training. The daily amount stays the same – one ampoule a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you also use other food supplements containing HMB or choline, take their amounts into account. At the recommended use, one box lasts 20 days.

Ingredients and quality

The ampoule has a short ingredient list: purified water, BetaTOR® HMB as free acid, VitaCholine® choline L-bitartrate, the preservatives potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate, flavouring and the sweetener sucralose. The product contains a sweetener. According to the manufacturer, the product may contain traces of milk, egg and shellfish.
