What is inosine?

Inosine is a nucleoside, a compound made up of the purine base hypoxanthine and the sugar ribose. The human body produces inosine itself, and in terms of chemical structure it is close to adenosine. We also get small amounts of purines from everyday food, for example from meat and fish products.

In food supplements, inosine is usually used as a pure substance. According to the manufacturer, the inosine in this product is in a pure crystalline form, and each capsule contains exactly 500 mg. Inosine belongs to the purines – compounds that are broken down into uric acid in the body.

How to use?

Take 2–4 capsules about 30 minutes before physical activity with enough water. Do not take more than 4 capsules, i.e. 2000 mg of inosine, a day – do not exceed the recommended amount. If you take 2 capsules at a time, the pack lasts 50 times; taking 4 capsules, it lasts 25 times. If you also use other products containing inosine, take their amounts into account.
