Scitec Nutrition Hot Blood Hardcore Shot is a ready-to-drink pre-workout formula in a 60 ml bottle that needs no mixing or measuring. One bottle contains 3000 mg of beta-alanine, 900 mg of taurine, 400 mg of caffeine, 150 mg of L-tyrosine and 40 mg of green tea leaf extract. The bottle is intended for one workout: half of the drink is taken before training and the other half during training. It is a handy solution for when you have left your shaker or pre-workout powder at home, or when there is no way to mix a powder – the bottle fits easily in a gym bag or a pocket.

What is in the bottle?

The main ingredients of Hot Blood Hardcore Shot are beta-alanine, taurine, caffeine, L-tyrosine and green tea leaf extract. One 60 ml bottle contains 3000 mg of beta-alanine and 900 mg of taurine. There are 400 mg of caffeine in the bottle, or 667 mg per 100 ml, so half a bottle (30 ml) provides 200 mg of caffeine. L-tyrosine amounts to 150 mg. Green tea leaf extract amounts to 40 mg, of which polyphenols make up 32 mg and epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) 6 mg.

The drink is sweetened with sweeteners – sorbitols, acesulfame K and sucralose. The texture comes from the thickeners cellulose gum, xanthan gum and guar gum, the colour from beta-carotene, and sorbic acid is used as a preservative. The drink is water-based, so it is ready to drink straight away – just shake the bottle well before use. There are two flavours, apple-pear and orange, with the same composition.

How to use?

Shake the bottle well before use. Drink half a bottle (30 ml) 15 minutes before exercise and the remaining half (30 ml) during exercise. One bottle (60 ml) is the whole serving and contains a total of 400 mg of caffeine. Because of the green tea extract, the drink must not be consumed on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the recommended intake.

Who is it for?

Hot Blood Hardcore Shot is intended for healthy adults who train and want a portable caffeinated pre-workout drink without mixing a powder. Because of its high caffeine content (400 mg per bottle), the product is not recommended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women, and because of the green tea extract it should not be consumed by persons under 18 years of age either. Caffeine and green tea

One bottle contains 400 mg of caffeine (667 mg per 100 ml), which is a high caffeine content. The manufacturer recommends splitting the drink into two halves: half a bottle 15 minutes before training and the other half during training. When counting your daily caffeine intake, keep other sources of caffeine in mind as well, such as coffee, tea and energy drinks.

As the drink contains green tea leaf extract (6 mg EGCG per serving), it must not be consumed on an empty stomach or on the same day as other products containing green tea, and the daily intake of EGCG must be less than 800 mg. The full ingredient list and warnings are given separately.
