Scitec Hot Blood Hardcore – pre-workout drink powder with creatine and caffeine

Scitec Nutrition Hot Blood Hardcore is the new generation of the Hot Blood pre-workout drink powder, intended to be consumed before and during training. The manufacturer has rethought and renewed the formula: the daily amount (25 g) provides 3 g of creatine from creatine monohydrate, a renewed amino acid matrix, 300 mg of caffeine from multiple sources, electrolytes, BioPerine® black pepper extract, and vitamins and minerals. The powder is mixed with cold water, and the daily amount is split into two servings of 12.5 g. The pack contains 375 g of powder, or 30 servings, which is enough for 15 training days.

What does the daily amount contain?

The largest part of the daily amount is the “Hot Blood” Multi Complex (11533 mg), which includes the carbohydrates maltodextrin and dextrose (8061 mg), 1400 mg of beta-alanine, 1200 mg of L-citrulline, 500 mg of malic acid, 250 mg of acetyl-L-carnitine and 50 mg of Carnipure® L-carnitine L-tartrate (202 mg of L-carnitine in total), 50 mg of calcium β-hydroxy β-methylbutyrate (42 mg of HMB) and small amounts of betaine, choline and biotin. There are 3411 mg of creatine monohydrate, of which 3000 mg is creatine.

The amino acid matrix (4354 mg) contains 2400 mg of L-arginine (2902 mg as L-arginine hydrochloride), 1000 mg of L-tyrosine, 200 mg of taurine, 100 mg of L-glutamine and small amounts of L-leucine, L-ornithine, L-valine, L-isoleucine and L-lysine. The plant extracts in the daily amount are 200 mg of green tea leaf extract (incl. 30 mg EGCG), 20 mg of grape seed extract, 50 mg of Ginkgo biloba leaf extract, 50 mg of guarana seed extract, 50 mg of ginger rhizome extract and 1.75 mg of BioPerine® black pepper fruit extract. The electrolytes in the daily amount are 120 mg of calcium, 100 mg of sodium and 80 mg of magnesium. Total caffeine is 300 mg, coming from caffeine anhydrous, guarana extract and green tea extract.

How to use?

Mix one serving (12.5 g, or ¾ scoop) with 200 ml of cold water in a shaker. The drink is slightly carbonated, so open the shaker lid every 5 seconds while mixing to avoid pressure build-up. Drink one serving 30 minutes before your workout and the second serving during your workout – 25 g in total per day. Do not consume on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Who is it for?

Hot Blood Hardcore is intended for adults who train regularly and at high intensity – for example weight training in the gym or interval training – and who want a drink with creatine, caffeine, amino acids and vitamins before and during their workout. The information on creatine is aimed at adults performing high-intensity exercise. Because of its high caffeine content and green tea extract, the product is not recommended for children and should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women or persons under 18 years of age. Consumption is not recommended in case of known underlying medical conditions or when taking medication. A caffeine-free version is available as Hot Blood No-Stim.
