What is D-aspartic acid?

D-aspartic acid is an organic compound belonging to the amino acids; the abbreviation D.A.A. comes from its name. The compound is an enantiomer, i.e. a mirror-image form, of L-aspartic acid: both have the same chemical composition, but they differ in spatial configuration and biological activity. The human body also produces D-aspartic acid itself. In food, it is found mainly in animal products, for example poultry, fish and oysters, and in small amounts also in asparagus, avocado and oatmeal. As a powder, D-aspartic acid is easy to dose accurately and mix with a liquid.

How to use?

Mix one serving, i.e. 3 g (one level scoop), with 100–150 ml of water or juice. Take one serving a day about 30 minutes before bedtime. One serving is also the recommended daily dose, which must not be exceeded. Level off the powder in the scoop so that the amount is the same every day. The powder can be mixed in a glass with a spoon or in a shaker until it is evenly blended with the liquid.
