Mutant TEST is a food supplement in vegetarian capsules from the Canadian sports nutrition brand Mutant that combines two vitamins and three minerals with plant extracts and D-aspartic acid. One serving is 3 capsules and provides 10 µg of vitamin D (200% of the nutrient reference value), 6 mg of vitamin B6 (430%), 105 mg of magnesium (28%), 12.5 mg of zinc (125%) and 50 µg of selenium (90%). The serving also contains a 1.9 g herbal blend with 750 mg of D-aspartic acid, a 750 mg blend of two fenugreek seed extracts, oat straw, maca root, cranberry and eleuthero root extract, a 150 mg blend of stinging nettle root, damiana leaf, hesperidin, giant knotweed root extract and turmeric root extract, and BioPerine® black pepper extract.

The recommended daily intake is 2 servings, i.e. 6 capsules. The package contains 90 capsules, i.e. 30 servings, which last for 15 days with the recommended use.

Zinc, magnesium, vitamins B6 and D and selenium

The product contains zinc as zinc aspartate and zinc bisglycinate, magnesium as magnesium bisglycinate and magnesium oxide, vitamin B6 as pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin D as ergocalciferol (vitamin D2) and selenium as selenomethionine. The recommended daily intake (6 capsules) provides 25 mg of zinc (250% NRV), 210 mg of magnesium (56%), 12 mg of vitamin B6 (860%), 20 µg of vitamin D (400%) and 100 µg of selenium (180%).

How to use?

The product is intended for healthy adults only. According to the directions on the pack, take 3 capsules 2 times per day as a food supplement, every morning upon waking on an empty stomach with 250 ml of water. The daily intake is therefore 6 capsules, i.e. 2 servings, and it must not be exceeded. The manufacturer states on the pack that the product is for occasional use only. With the recommended use, one package lasts for 15 days. If you also use other products containing zinc, magnesium, vitamin B6, vitamin D, selenium or the same plant extracts, take their amounts into account. People taking medicines should only consume the product under medical supervision.

Herbal blend composition

Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is an annual plant of the legume family whose seeds are also used as a spice. The product contains two fenugreek seed extracts: a full spectrum extract with an extract ratio of 10:1 and the Testosurge® extract with an extract ratio of 25:1. D-aspartic acid is the D form of aspartic acid. Maca (Lepidium meyenii) is a root vegetable of the cabbage family that grows in the mountains of Peru, oat straw (Avena sativa) consists of the green stems of the oat plant and eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus), also known as Siberian ginseng, is a thorny shrub native to north-east Asia. The second, 150 mg blend contains stinging nettle root, the leaf of damiana, a shrub native to Mexico and Central America, hesperidin, a flavonoid found in citrus fruits, giant knotweed (Reynoutria japonica) root extract standardised to 50% trans-resveratrol and turmeric root extract standardised to 95% curcuminoids. BioPerine® black pepper extract contains 95% piperine. The other ingredients are hypromellose, which forms the vegetarian capsule, malic acid and the anti-caking agents magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide and microcrystalline cellulose. The product is made in Canada. Store the pack in a cool, dry, dark place; it contains a desiccant packet that must not be eaten.
