Amix E-Lite Salts – electrolytes in capsules for long training sessions

Amix E-Lite Salts is a food supplement in vegetable capsules containing the minerals known as electrolytes – sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium – together with vitamin D and pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). One capsule provides 230 mg of sodium, 100 mg of potassium, 26.5 mg of calcium and 18.9 mg of magnesium. The capsules are a convenient choice for those who do not want to mix electrolytes into a drink: they are easy to carry, do not change the taste of your drink and let you adjust the amount to the length of your session. The container holds 120 capsules.

Vitamin D and pantothenic acid

One capsule provides 5 µg of vitamin D (as cholecalciferol, 200 IU) and 6 mg of pantothenic acid. For both vitamins this equals 100% NRV per capsule.

How to use?

During physical activity, take one capsule with water every 30–60 minutes. Up to four capsules may be taken per day – do not exceed this amount. The capsules can be taken, for example, during a long run, bike ride, hike or race when you are drinking water regularly anyway. If you use other products with electrolytes or vitamins on the same day, take their composition into account, especially the amounts of sodium and vitamin D. Four capsules provide a total of 920 mg of sodium and 20 µg of vitamin D. At the maximum daily dose, one container lasts 30 days.

The capsule contains sodium chloride, tripotassium citrate, tricalcium citrate, magnesium citrate, magnesium bisglycinate chelate, calcium bisglycinate chelate, pantothenic acid and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3). The manufacturer describes the blend as buffered electrolyte salts. The capsule shell is plant-based: it is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and coloured with calcium carbonate. Magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide are added as anticaking agents. The formula contains no sugar or sweeteners. The ingredients do not include milk, egg, soy or gluten, but the product may contain traces of milk, eggs, soy, gluten, crustaceans and molluscs.
