BioTechUSA Green Coffee is a food supplement in capsules with green coffee bean extract and chromium. The daily portion of 2 capsules contains 1000 mg green coffee bean extract, of which 500 mg is chlorogenic acid, and 12 µg chromium, which is 30% of the nutrient reference value. Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. The container holds 120 capsules, or 60 daily portions.

Green coffee beans are unroasted coffee beans, and chlorogenic acid is a compound naturally found in coffee beans. The extract in BioTechUSA Green Coffee is made so that half of the extract is chlorogenic acid: 1000 mg of extract provides 500 mg of chlorogenic acid. The extract makes up 65% of the capsule contents.

The product contains caffeine

Green coffee bean extract contains naturally occurring caffeine. Two capsules – the daily portion – contain up to 100 mg of caffeine. Take this into account if you also drink coffee, tea or energy drinks during the day or use other caffeine-containing supplements. The product is not recommended for children or pregnant or breast-feeding women.

The capsule shell is made of gelatine coated with the glazing agent shellac, and its colour comes from iron oxides and hydroxides. One container is a two-month supply.
