BioTechUSA Mega Omega 3 is a high-concentration fish oil supplement providing 1000 mg of fish oil per daily serving, including 800 mg of omega-3 fatty acids. Two softgel capsules per day deliver 400 mg of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and 300 mg of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), essential polyunsaturated fatty acids that the body cannot produce on its own.
Omega-3 fatty acids are found abundantly in sea fish such as cod, tuna, salmon, mackerel and herring. In modern diets, intake often falls below recommended levels. Mega Omega 3 is a convenient way to ensure adequate daily omega-3 intake without changing your everyday diet.
What sets this product apart is its 70% omega-3 content in the fish oil concentrate – significantly higher than most standard fish oil products. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and normal brain function. Vitamin E (2 mg, 16% NRV) is added as an antioxidant to help protect cells from oxidative stress.
