Now Foods Quercetin with Bromelain is a food supplement that combines two substances of plant origin: quercetin, which belongs to the flavonoids, and bromelain, an enzyme derived from pineapple. What are quercetin and bromelain?

Quercetin is a natural flavonoid, a plant polyphenol that gives many fruits and vegetables their colour. In the diet it is found, for example, in onions, apples, berries, cabbages, tea and buckwheat. Pure quercetin is a yellowish powder, so the colour of the capsule contents may vary slightly from batch to batch – this is natural and does not affect product quality.

Bromelain is a mixture of protein-splitting enzymes obtained from the pineapple plant. Its potency is expressed in GDU (gelatin digesting units): the higher the number per gram, the higher the enzyme activity. The bromelain used in this product has an activity of 2400 GDU/g. As bromelain comes from pineapple, the product is not suitable for people who are allergic to pineapple.

How to use?

The manufacturer recommends taking 2 capsules 20 minutes before meals, twice daily. If you have a sensitive stomach, you may take the capsules with food. Swallow the capsules whole with a glass of water. Do not exceed the recommended amount and take into account any other supplements used at the same time. At the recommended use, one bottle lasts 30 days.
