What is Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard?
Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard is one of the best-known and best-selling whey protein powders in the world. Each serving provides 24 g of whey protein with low levels of sugar and fat – less than 120 kcal per serving. All of the protein comes from whey: the main component of the protein blend is whey protein isolate, complemented by whey protein concentrate and hydrolysed whey protein isolate.
Whey protein is a high-quality, fast-absorbing protein derived from milk and packed with essential amino acids. Each serving contains 5.5 g of naturally occurring branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) and 4 g of glutamine and glutamic acid. Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass and to the maintenance of muscle mass.
New 768–780 g pack
This is the European version of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard in the new pack, labelled “New pack – same great taste”. The exact net weight and number of servings depend on the flavour, as the scoop size differs slightly between flavours (30–32 g). One tub provides 24–26 servings.

How to use
Mix 1 scoop of powder (30–32 g depending on the flavour, see “Product contents”) with 180–240 ml of cold water and blend, shake or stir until the powder is completely dissolved. Best enjoyed first thing in the morning and/or within 30 minutes before or immediately after training. You can also add the powder to smoothies, porridge, muffins, protein balls or other meals.
