Amix Micellar Casein is a powdered food supplement with sweeteners and flavourings, based on milk protein concentrate. It contains micellar casein and whey protein in the same ratio as skimmed milk, 80 : 20. One serving (44 g, or one maximally heaped scoop) provides 35.4 g of protein and 159 kcal, with only 0.9 g of fat and 2.1 g of sugars. The 2200 g pack contains 50 servings. The manufacturer recommends drinking the shake preferably before bedtime, which makes it a good fit for an evening routine. Protein and calcium

How to use?

Mix one maximally heaped scoop (44 g) of powder with 250–300 ml of cold water or low-fat milk. Use a blender or shaker and mix for about 30 seconds until the shake is smooth. The manufacturer recommends drinking it preferably before bedtime. To change the flavour and sweetness of the drink, use more or less water. A shake made with milk also contains the nutrients and energy of the milk. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Ingredients and flavours

Amix Micellar Casein is available in chocolate, strawberry, forest fruits and vanilla flavours. The base formula is the same for all flavours; the differences come from the flavour: the chocolate version contains cocoa powder, and the strawberry and forest fruits versions contain beetroot juice. All flavours are sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame K and contain no aspartame. As is typical of milk protein, the product naturally contains beta-lactoglobulin, alpha-lactalbumin, glycomacropeptides, immunoglobulins, bovine serum albumin, lactoperoxidase and lactoferrin. Per 100 g of pure protein there are on average 9.6 g of leucine, 5.3 g of isoleucine and 8.4 g of valine, a total of 23.3 g of branched-chain amino acids; glutamine calculated from the glutamic acid content is 21.6 g.
