Universal Collagen 300g

Universal Collagen – unflavoured collagen powder (types I and III)

Universal Collagen is a food supplement made in the United States whose only ingredient is collagen. The pack contains 300 g of unflavoured powder with type I and type III collagen. The recommended daily dose is one scoop, i.e. 5 g, so the pack lasts for about 60 days. As no sweeteners or flavourings are added, the powder can be mixed with a variety of drinks and is easy to fit into your daily routine.

What is collagen?

Collagen is a protein found naturally in the connective tissue of animals, for example in tendons and bones. The different types of collagen are distinguished by their structure and where they occur: type I is the most common, and type III is often found alongside it. Universal Collagen contains both types. 100 g of powder contains 100 g of collagen and one 5 g daily dose provides 5 g of collagen. The label does not state the animal source of the collagen.

How to use?

Mix 1 scoop (5 g) of powder with 240–300 ml of water or another drink of your choice and stir until the powder is evenly dispersed. The manufacturer recommends taking one scoop a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you also use other products containing collagen, take their amounts into account. For accurate dosing, use the scoop included in the pack.

Who is it for?

Universal Collagen is suitable for adults who want to add collagen to their daily diet as an easy-to-dose powder. The unflavoured powder suits those who prefer products with a short ingredient list and no sweeteners or flavourings, and those who like to mix collagen into their usual drink. A food supplement does not replace a varied and balanced diet.
