Power System Liquid Chalk 100ml / Vedel Talk

Power System Liquid Chalk – liquid magnesium for a firm grip, 100 ml

Power System Liquid Chalk is liquid magnesium, or liquid chalk, applied to the hands or feet for a firmer grip and to keep the palms dry during training. According to the manufacturer, it gives a sturdy, firm grip on bars, weights, gym equipment, walls and other solid surfaces. Unlike traditional powder chalk, liquid chalk does not create a cloud of dust that ends up on your clothes, sports gear and the gym floor. The 100 ml bottle is easy to carry in your bag and reapply during a session when needed. The product is white and comes in a bottle with a closable cap.

Magnesium carbonate in liquid form

According to the manufacturer, Power System Liquid Chalk consists of non-toxic ingredients such as magnesium carbonate, edible alcohol and honey. Magnesium carbonate is the same white substance known in sport as chalk or magnesium. According to Power System, it was used for bouldering as early as 1954 by John Gill, regarded as the founder of modern bouldering, and during the 20th century chalk became an essential tool for gymnasts, rock climbers, Olympic lifters and powerlifters. Chalk helps keep the palms dry and the grip firm even during heavy exercises such as deadlifts, pull-ups and snatches. The liquid form means the chalk is applied to the skin straight from the bottle and does not fly around during application.

How to use?

Shake the bottle thoroughly before use so that the magnesium mixes evenly with the liquid. Apply a small amount to your palms and fingers (and to your feet if needed), rub it in evenly and wait until the layer has dried before you take hold of the bar, dumbbell or other equipment. During a longer session you can reapply the product as needed. Close the bottle tightly after use. Do not apply the product to damaged skin.
