Evogen Light & Tight is a food supplement in vegetable capsules that contains magnesium in the form of magnesium citrate, a blend of six herbal ingredients and the bacteriophage complex PreforPro. Two capsules provide 210 mg of magnesium, which is 56% of the nutrient reference value, 800 mg of the herbal extract blend and 15 mg of the phage complex. The blend consists of burdock root extract, aloe vera juice powder, peppermint powder, senna leaf extract, fennel seed extract and cascara sagrada bark extract. The pack contains 28 capsules, or 14 servings of two capsules, so at the recommended daily amount it lasts 14 days. Evogen is an American sports nutrition and food supplement brand.

How to use?

Take 1–2 capsules with 240–480 ml (8–16 oz) of water once or twice a day – in the morning and/or in the afternoon. Drink at least 6–8 glasses of water in total during the day. Do not take more than four capsules in any 24-hour period and do not exceed the recommended dosage. The product must not be consumed with alcohol or used long term. The manufacturer recommends using the product together with a diet and training programme under professional supervision. If you also use other food supplements containing magnesium, add up the amounts of magnesium.

Who is it for?

Evogen Light & Tight is intended only for adults aged 18 and over who want to supplement their diet with magnesium and prefer a food supplement containing herbal extracts. The product is not suitable for women who are pregnant, expect to become pregnant or are nursing, nor for people who have frequent diarrhoea or any serious medical condition. If you are using any prescription or over-the-counter medication, have or have had a medical condition or have a family history of one, consult a doctor or another qualified health care professional before use. Composition and storage

The herbal extract blend consists of six ingredients: burdock root extract (Arctium lappa), aloe vera juice powder, peppermint powder, senna leaf extract, fennel seed extract (Foeniculum vulgare) and cascara sagrada bark extract (Rhamnus purshiana). The ratio 200:1 for the aloe vera juice powder and 4:1 for the senna leaf extract indicates how many parts of raw material were used to make one part of powder or extract. PreforPro is a bacteriophage complex whose composition is given on the label as LH01 Myoviridae, LL5, Siphoviridae. Microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate are added as excipients, and the capsule shell is made of hypromellose, a plant-based cellulose compound. The country of origin is the United States of America and the brand is Evogen. Store the pack in a cool, dry place.
