BiotechUSA Energy Gel PRO is a gel food supplement designed to be consumed during training, in a 40 g single-serve pack. The gel contains three carbohydrates – glucose, fructose and maltodextrin – 13.4 g in total per pack. The gel also contains MCT oil, i.e. medium-chain triglycerides from coconut, taurine, L-arginine and L-carnitine, as well as vitamin B6 and magnesium. One gel is also the recommended daily amount. You can choose between orange and lemon flavours. The gel contains no caffeine and no sweeteners.

Vitamin B6 and magnesium

One 40 g gel contains 1.9 mg of vitamin B6, which is 136% of the nutrient reference value, and 60 mg of magnesium, i.e. 16% of the reference value. Vitamin B6 is present in the gel as pyridoxine hydrochloride, magnesium as magnesium salts of citric acid and magnesium gluconate.

How to use?

Take one gel (40 g) per day during your workout. The gel is ready to use and can be eaten straight from the pack, so there is nothing to mix or dissolve. Open the pack just before consumption. Do not exceed the recommended daily amount – the daily serving is one gel. If you take other food supplements containing vitamin B6 or magnesium on the same day, take their content into account as well.

Who is it for?

Energy Gel PRO is suitable for adults who train for longer periods – for example running, cycling, skiing or taking part in triathlon – and want a convenient way to take carbohydrates in gel form during training without having to mix a powder. The small pack fits easily in a pocket or running belt. As the gel contains no caffeine, it is also suitable for those who avoid caffeine. The product is not recommended with known medical conditions and/or while taking medications.

Flavours and composition

• Orange – orange-flavoured gel; colours: carotenes and beta-apo-8'-carotenal.
• Lemon – lemon-flavoured gel without colours.

Both flavours have the same base composition: water, glucose, fructose and maltodextrin, MCT oil from coconut, taurine, L-arginine, L-carnitine, magnesium compounds and vitamin B6. The texture of the gel comes from the thickener cellulose gum; propylene glycol is used as an emulsifier and potassium chloride and sorbic acid as preservatives.
