CarniLine 1500 mg – L-carnitine and BioPerine®

Amix CarniLine® is a food supplement containing L-carnitine as L-carnitine tartrate and the black pepper extract BioPerine®. Two capsules contain 1500 mg L-carnitine tartrate and 5 mg BioPerine®, standardised to 95% piperine. The container holds 90 vegetable capsules, or 45 servings of two capsules.

The capsule is made of plant-based hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and coloured with calcium carbonate. Besides the active ingredients, the capsule contains only the anti-caking agents magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. The formula contains no sugar or sweeteners.

L-carnitine tartrate

L-carnitine is a compound that the human body produces itself and that is also obtained from food, mainly from meat and dairy products. Vegetarian and vegan diets therefore usually contain less L-carnitine. L-carnitine tartrate is a compound of L-carnitine and tartaric acid and a stable, easy-to-dose form of L-carnitine commonly used in food supplements. Food supplements use L-carnitine in several forms, such as L-carnitine base, L-carnitine tartrate and acetyl-L-carnitine. CarniLine® contains the tartrate form: one capsule provides 750 mg L-carnitine tartrate.

BioPerine® – black pepper extract

BioPerine® is a standardised extract from the fruit of black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) or long pepper (Piper longum L.) containing 95% piperine. Piperine is the compound that gives pepper its familiar pungent taste. Two capsules contain 5 mg BioPerine®, so one capsule contains 2.5 mg. BioPerine® is a registered trademark of Sabinsa.

Who is it for?

Amix CarniLine® is suitable for adults who want to supplement their diet with L-carnitine, for example people whose diet contains little meat and dairy. The dose is easy to adjust: take one or two capsules, but no more than two capsules a day. If you use other products containing L-carnitine at the same time, take their amounts into account as well. The capsule is plant-based, so the product is also suitable for people who avoid capsules of animal origin. The product is not designed for children and must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The manufacturer recommends consulting a doctor or another healthcare practitioner before use.

Amounts are given per two capsules. On training days the capsules are taken 30–45 minutes before training, on non-training days before breakfast. Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, away from sunlight.
