CLA 1200 & Green Tea – conjugated linoleic acid and green tea extract

Amix CLA 1200 & Green Tea is a food supplement containing conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and green tea (Camellia sinensis) extract in vegetable capsules. The daily dose of three capsules provides 1500 mg Amix™ CLA oil standardised for 80% conjugated linoleic acid, which gives 1200 mg CLA. The daily dose also contains 300 mg green tea extract standardised for 25% polyphenols. The container holds 120 capsules (net weight 80.8 g), or 40 daily doses.

What is CLA?

Conjugated linoleic acid, or CLA, is a form of linoleic acid in which the double bonds sit in a different position than in ordinary linoleic acid. It occurs naturally in small amounts in milk fat, beef and lamb. In addition to conjugated linoleic acid, the daily dose of Amix™ CLA oil contains 166.5 mg oleic acid, 77.5 mg palmitic acid, 32.5 mg stearic acid and 23.5 mg linoleic acid. Green tea extract

Green tea extract is obtained from the leaves of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis) and standardised for 25% polyphenols, so 300 mg of extract contains 75 mg polyphenols. Green tea polyphenols include catechins such as epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). Under EU rules, a food supplement containing green tea extract must not be taken on an empty stomach or on the same day as other products containing green tea, and 800 mg or more of EGCG must not be consumed per day. For this reason, always take the capsules with food.

Who is it for?

CLA 1200 & Green Tea is suitable for adults who want to supplement their diet with conjugated linoleic acid and green tea extract. The product is not designed for children or people under 18 and must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The manufacturer recommends consulting a doctor or another healthcare practitioner before use, especially if you take medication or other food supplements. The product may contain traces of milk, eggs, soybeans, gluten and crustaceans.

Use and storage

Take 3 capsules a day with food and wash them down with plenty of water. The capsules can be taken at once or spread across the day's meals. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
