OstroVit Hydro Out Diuretic is a food supplement in capsules from the Polish manufacturer OstroVit that combines seven plant extracts with vitamin B6. One daily serving of three capsules provides 350 mg of nettle leaf extract, 350 mg of dandelion root extract, 250 mg of guarana seed extract, 200 mg of goldenrod aerial parts extract, 200 mg of cranberry fruit extract, 200 mg of green tea leaf extract, 150 mg of field horsetail aerial parts extract and 6 mg of vitamin B6. Most of the extracts are standardised to a specific compound, so the label shows how much flavonoids, caffeine, proanthocyanidins, polyphenols and silica each serving contains. The pack holds 90 capsules, or 30 daily servings, which is enough for one month.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble B vitamin found, for example, in wholegrain cereal products, offal and dried pulses. In this product vitamin B6 is provided as pyridoxal 5′-phosphate. The daily serving provides 6 mg of vitamin B6, which is 429% of the nutrient reference value.

How to use?

Guarana is a climbing shrub from the Amazon rainforest whose seeds are known for their high caffeine content. Goldenrod is a plant of the daisy family with yellow flower clusters, and its extract is made from the aerial parts. Cranberry is a berry plant originally from North America; its fruit extract is standardised to proanthocyanidins. Green tea leaves are only steamed and dried during production, and the extract contains 50% polyphenols. Field horsetail is a perennial plant that grows throughout Europe; its extract is standardised to silica. The capsules also contain inulin. The ingredient list contains no allergens, but the production facility also uses ingredients derived from milk, soy, peanuts, nuts, sesame, cereals containing gluten, eggs, crustaceans and fish.
