Allnutrition Moringa Oleifera is a product from the Polish food supplement brand Allnutrition containing an extract made from the leaves of moringa (Moringa oleifera). Each capsule provides 500 mg of extract standardised to 20% glycosides – that is 100 mg of glycosides per capsule. The capsule also contains 2.1 mg of black pepper extract, which provides 2 mg of piperine.

The recommended amount is one capsule a day and the pack contains 100 capsules, so one tub lasts for 100 days. The capsules are convenient to take as part of a daily routine, for example before breakfast.

What is moringa?

Moringa is a versatile plant native to parts of Africa and Asia. It is often called the "drumstick tree" because of the shape of its seed pods. Moringa leaves are a valued plant raw material. Moringa oleifera is a moringa species that is also known for the oil pressed from its seeds. This product, however, is based on the leaves – the capsule contains an extract made from the leaves, not seed oil.

Extract and black pepper

The leaf extract is standardised, which means that its glycoside content is fixed at 20% of the extract. As a result, every capsule consistently contains 100 mg of glycosides. The manufacturer has added black pepper extract, an ingredient often used in food supplements. Black pepper extract provides piperine – an alkaloid that is a characteristic component of pepper and gives it its pungent taste.

How to use?
