MUTANT ZM8+ – zinc, magnesium and six more micronutrients

MUTANT ZM8+ is a food supplement from the Canadian sports nutrition brand Mutant, containing vitamins, minerals and black pepper extract. The recommended daily dose of two capsules provides a total of eight micronutrients: zinc, magnesium, manganese, selenium, chromium and vitamins D, B6 and B12. The daily dose also contains 3.36 mg of black pepper extract known under the trademark BioPerine, standardised to 95% piperine. The container holds 90 vegetable capsules, i.e. 45 daily doses. The product is taken in the evening and in cycles: eight weeks of use are followed by a four-week break.

The daily dose contains 20 mg of zinc (200% of the nutrient reference value), 300 mg of magnesium (80%), 8 mg of vitamin B6 (571%), 2 µg of vitamin B12 (80%), 13.33 µg of vitamin D (267%), 66.70 µg of selenium (121%), 1.33 mg of manganese (67%) and 80 µg of chromium (200%).

How to use?

The manufacturer recommends taking the capsules in the evening before bed on an empty stomach with 250 ml of water. The recommended daily dose is 2 capsules – the nutrition information is given for exactly this amount. The product is used in cycles: 8 weeks in a row, followed by a 4-week break. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you also use other products containing zinc, magnesium or vitamin B6, such as multivitamins, take their amounts into account as well.

MUTANT ZM8+ is suitable for adults who want to supplement their diet with zinc, magnesium and other vitamins and minerals in a single product – for example, people who train regularly, have a busy schedule and whose diet may not always be varied enough. The capsules are easy to take as part of an evening routine. The product is not recommended for children or pregnant or nursing women. Composition, forms and storage

The minerals are provided in the following forms: magnesium as bisglycinate and oxide, zinc as bisglycinate and L-aspartate, manganese as bisglycinate, selenium as selenomethionine and chromium as picolinate. Vitamin B12 is provided as methylcobalamin and vitamin D as ergocalciferol (vitamin D2). The capsule shell is made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids and microcrystalline cellulose are added as anti-caking agents. The product may contain traces of milk, soy, egg, crustaceans and shellfish, and fish. Keep the container in a cool, dry and dark place. It contains a desiccant packet that must not be eaten.
