The Cortisol Blocker's – phosphatidylserine, bacopa and vitamin B6

Amix The Cortisol Blocker's is a food supplement containing phosphatidylserine from soya lecithin, Bacopa monnieri extract, the amino acids L-tryptophan and L-tyrosine, alpha-lipoic acid and vitamin B6 in vegetable capsules. Two capsules, the daily dose, provide 400 mg phosphatidylserine-enriched soya lecithin (50% phosphatidylserine), 200 mg L-tryptophan, 200 mg L-tyrosine, 200 mg bacopa extract, 100 mg alpha-lipoic acid and 10 mg vitamin B6. The container holds 60 capsules (net weight 41.8 g), or 30 daily doses.

The daily dose is split in two: one capsule is taken after physical activity with a light meal and the other before sleep.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, to normal functioning of the nervous system and to normal psychological function, and contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. The daily dose contains 10 mg vitamin B6 (714% of the nutrient reference value) as pyridoxine hydrochloride.

Do not use other food supplements containing vitamin B6 at the same time.

Phosphatidylserine, bacopa and amino acids

Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid, a natural component of cell membranes. In this product it comes from soya lecithin enriched so that half of its weight is phosphatidylserine. Bacopa (Bacopa monnieri) is a plant that grows in the wetlands of South Asia, and its extract is standardised to 20% bacosides. L-tryptophan is an essential amino acid that the body cannot produce, and L-tyrosine is an amino acid found in protein-rich foods. Alpha-lipoic acid is a sulphur-containing fatty acid that occurs naturally in the body.

Who is it for?

The Cortisol Blocker's is suitable for adults who want to supplement their diet with phosphatidylserine, bacopa, amino acids and vitamin B6. The product contains soy, so it is not suitable for people allergic to soy. The product is not designed for children and must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The manufacturer recommends consulting a doctor or another healthcare practitioner before use, especially if you take medication.
