Cellucor C4 Ultimate – pre-workout powder with amino acids, caffeine and B vitamins

Cellucor C4 Ultimate is a food supplement in powder form that is mixed with water and taken before training. According to the label, it is a pre-workout powder with amino acids, caffeine and B vitamins. One daily dose of two level scoops (25.4 g) provides 7000 mg of L-citrulline, 4800 mg of beta-alanine, 1250 mg of betaine anhydrous, 500 mg of L-tyrosine, 200 mg of choline and 300 mg of caffeine. The blend also contains three branded plant extracts – CereBoost®, EnXtra® and AstraGin® – as well as vitamins B6 and B12, potassium and magnesium. The net weight of the container is 508 g, enough for 20 daily doses. C4 is the pre-workout range of the American sports supplement brand Cellucor, and the C4 Ultimate we sell is made in the European Union.

B vitamins, magnesium and potassium

Vitamins B6 and B12 are water-soluble B-group vitamins, while magnesium and potassium are minerals that need to be obtained from food. The daily dose of C4 Ultimate provides 0.42 mg of vitamin B6 (30% NRV), 2.6 µg of vitamin B12 (104% NRV), 120 mg of magnesium (32% NRV) and 600 mg of potassium (30% NRV).

How to use?

Mix one serving (about two level scoops, or 25.4 g) with 700 ml of water and drink it 20–30 minutes before training. The recommended amount is one serving per day and it must not be exceeded. The easiest way is to use a shaker: pour in the water first and then add the powder so that it mixes more evenly. As one serving contains 300 mg of caffeine, also take into account coffee, tea, energy drinks and other caffeinated products – do not consume more than 400 mg of caffeine per day from all food and food supplement sources combined.

Who is it for?

C4 Ultimate is suitable for healthy adults aged 18 and over who train regularly and prefer a caffeinated drink before training. The powder is easy to prepare, and as it is mixed with 700 ml of water, it also provides a good amount of fluid before training. The product is not suitable for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women or persons sensitive to caffeine. If you are taking medication, have a pre-existing medical condition or are preparing for surgery, consult a health care professional before use. The product contains a sweetener and may contain milk and gluten.

The ingredients and nutrition information on this page are given according to the Bubblegum label. In the Bubblegum flavour, the colour comes from beetroot red and the sweetness from sucralose, while the taste comes from flavourings. Flavourings and colours of the other flavours may differ, so check the exact ingredients on the package. Citric and malic acid are used as acidity regulators, and silicon dioxide and calcium silicate as anti-caking agents.
