PER4M Energy Pre-Workout – pre-workout drink powder with caffeine and amino acids
PER4M Energy Pre-Workout is a powdered food supplement from the sports nutrition brand PER4M Nutrition that is mixed with water and drunk before training. The manufacturer designed it as an everyday pre-workout drink, which is why the serving is small – one scoop, or 6.5 g. One serving contains 200 mg of caffeine, 2500 mg of L-citrulline DL-malate, 1600 mg of beta-alanine, 500 mg of taurine and 500 mg of L-tyrosine. The tub contains 390 g of powder, enough for 60 servings.
Sportlab offers eight flavours inspired by fruit and sweets. The amounts of the active ingredients are the same in all flavours; only the flavourings and colours differ.
Composition per serving
L-citrulline DL-malate 2:1 is a compound of the amino acid L-citrulline and malic acid in a 2:1 ratio. Beta-alanine, taurine and L-tyrosine are amino acids or amino acid-like compounds that are also obtained from ordinary food. Caffeine is added as caffeine anhydrous. The blend also contains theobromine from cacao (listed on the label as "theobromine (20% cacao extract)" 100 mg), 100 mg of African mango extract 4:1, 25 mg of grains of paradise extract and 2.5 mg of BioPerine® black pepper extract. Grains of paradise is a West African spice from the ginger family. As for vitamins, one serving provides 25 mg of niacin as niacinamide.

Niacin
Niacin, or vitamin B3, is a water-soluble B vitamin. One serving of PER4M Energy Pre-Workout provides 25 mg of niacin, which is 156% of the nutrient reference value.

How to use?
Mix one scoop (6.5 g) with 150 ml of water and drink approximately 15–30 minutes before exercise. The recommended amount is one serving a day. As one serving contains 200 mg of caffeine, take into account caffeine from coffee, tea, energy drinks and other food supplements during the day. Do not drink the product late in the evening if caffeine may disturb your sleep.

PER4M Energy Pre-Workout is suitable for healthy adults who train regularly and want a flavoured drink with caffeine, amino acids and niacin before exercise. Due to its caffeine content, the product is not recommended for children or pregnant women and is not suitable for people sensitive to caffeine.
