PER4M Pre-Workout Stim is a powdered food supplement from the sports nutrition brand PER4M Nutrition that is mixed with water and drunk before training. On the tub, the product is called PRE Advanced Pre-Workout. One serving, i.e. one scoop, is 19 g and is also the daily dose. One serving contains 8000 mg of L-citrulline, 3200 mg of beta-alanine, 2000 mg of taurine, 1000 mg of L-tyrosine and 300 mg of caffeine, plus CDP choline, L-theanine, plant extracts, salts and vitamins B3 and B12. The tub contains 570 g of powder, enough for 30 servings.

Sportlab offers seven flavours. The amounts of the active ingredients are the same in all flavours; only the flavourings and colours differ.

Composition per serving

L-citrulline, beta-alanine, taurine, L-tyrosine and L-theanine are amino acids or amino acid-like compounds that are also found in smaller amounts in ordinary food – citrulline, for example, in watermelon and theanine in tea. Caffeine is added as caffeine anhydrous. CDP choline, or citicoline, is a compound that contains choline. The plant-based ingredients include juniper berry extract, bitter orange extract, theobromine from cacao (listed on the label as "theobromine (20% cacao extract)" 100 mg) and AstraGin®, a blend of root extracts of the plants Astragalus membranaceus and Panax notoginseng. The salts are sodium chloride and pink Himalayan salt, and magnesium is added as magnesium bisglycinate. As for vitamins, one serving provides 30 mg of niacin as niacinamide and 1 mg of vitamin B12 as cyanocobalamin.

Niacin and vitamin B12

Niacin (vitamin B3) and vitamin B12 are water-soluble B vitamins. One serving provides 30 mg of niacin (187.5% of the nutrient reference value) and 1 mg of vitamin B12 (40,000%).

How to use?

Mix one scoop (19 g) with 200–300 ml of water and drink approximately 15–30 minutes before exercise. The recommended amount is one serving a day – do not exceed it. As one serving contains 300 mg of caffeine, do not use the product on the same day as other sources of caffeine, such as coffee, tea, energy drinks or other food supplements containing caffeine. Do not drink the product late in the evening, as caffeine may disturb your sleep. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before long-term use.

Who is it for?

PER4M Pre-Workout Stim is suitable for healthy adults who train regularly and want a flavoured drink with caffeine, amino acids and vitamins B3 and B12 before exercise. The product is intended for adults. Due to its caffeine content, the product is not recommended for children or pregnant women and is not suitable for people sensitive to caffeine. Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you are taking medication or have a medical condition, consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The product is made in a facility that also handles nuts, milk, eggs, soy and fish.
