Amix ZeroHero protein bar – 31% protein, low in sugar
Amix Nutrition Low-Carb ZeroHero® Protein Bar is a 65 g protein bar for anyone looking for a filling snack with little sugar. The manufacturer also calls it the Zero Hero 31% Protein Bar: it contains 31–32 g of protein per 100 g and 20–21 g of protein per bar. Depending on the flavour, a bar contains only 1–2.2 g of sugar, as the sweetness comes from sweeteners – maltitol syrup and the maltitol used in the chocolate. The bar is coated with dark chocolate with sweetener, and there are six flavours to choose from. The compact bar fits easily into a bag and is handy to take to work, on a trip or to training.
Protein
The protein in the ZeroHero bar comes from milk: the MilkPro® protein blend, made of milk protein isolate and concentrate and CFM® whey protein isolate, makes up 33–36% of the bar depending on the flavour. Protein provides roughly 30–33% of the energy of the product.

How to use?
Eat one bar a day, for example as a snack between meals or when your next meal is still some time away. The bar is handy for the office, travelling and your sports bag, as it needs no refrigeration or preparation. Do not exceed the recommended daily amount of one bar. The bar contains polyols (maltitol); excessive consumption may produce laxative effects. Store the bars in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, away from direct sunlight, and protect them from frost.

Who is it for?
The ZeroHero protein bar is suitable for adults who want to add a protein-rich snack to their daily menu and prefer an option with less sugar than a typical sweet treat. It suits people who train regularly as well as those with long working days and little time for a proper meal. The bar is intended as a snack, not as a replacement for a full meal. The product is not designed for children. As the protein comes from milk, the bar is not suitable for people with a milk protein allergy. The Peanut Butter flavour contains peanuts, Vanilla-Almond contains almonds and Double Chocolate contains soy; all flavours may contain traces of tree nuts and gluten.
Flavours and ingredients
All flavours share the same base: MilkPro® protein blend, glycerol, maltitol syrup, polydextrose, vegetable fat and dark chocolate with sweetener. The flavours differ in their added ingredients and coating:
- Orange Blast – half coated, with 2.2% candied orange peel; coloured with beta-carotene, plus beetroot juice.
- Peanut Butter – fully coated, with 9.3% peanut butter and salt.
- Double Chocolate – fully coated, with cocoa powder and an extra dark cocoa filling.
- Chocolate-Coconut – fully coated, with 5.3% fine desiccated coconut.
- Tropical Mango – half coated, with 2.2% candied mango; coloured with beta-carotene.
- Vanilla-Almond – half coated, with 6% roasted almond kernels.
