Power System Ankle Straps Gym - Pink

Power System Ankle Straps Gym – pink ankle straps for cable machines

Power System Ankle Straps Gym (manufacturer model name Gym Babe, product code 3450PI) are pink padded ankle straps designed for use with the low pulley of a cable machine or with a resistance band. The strap is fastened around the ankle with a hook-and-loop closure and the cable carabiner is clipped into the steel rings of the strap, so you can do leg exercises without switching to a handle or another attachment. According to the manufacturer, the straps are compatible with standard cable systems, resistance trainers and functional trainers and can be attached to a cable tower as well as to various exercise bands. The straps are sold as a pair.

Neoprene, nylon and double steel rings

According to the manufacturer, the straps are made of neoprene and steel; the English description also mentions high-grade nylon and thick padding. The part that sits around the ankle is padded so that the strap fits comfortably and firmly during training. Each strap has two steel half-rings to which the carabiner of the cable or band is attached, and the manufacturer describes the fastening as extra strong so that the strap stays closed during the exercise. The hook-and-loop closure lets you adjust the tension to the circumference of your ankle. The product weight is 0.26 kg according to the manufacturer.

How to use?

Place the strap around the ankle with the padded side against the skin and pull the hook-and-loop closure tight. Then clip the carabiner of the cable machine low pulley or exercise band into the two steel rings of the strap. The straps can be used for leg extensions and leg curls, hip abduction and adduction and other lower-body pulling exercises. Before adding load, check that the hook-and-loop closure is properly fastened and that the carabiner goes through both rings.
