OstroVit Vitamin B Complex is a food supplement in tablet form containing eight B vitamins as well as vitamins C and E. One tablet is one serving and also the daily dose. It provides 1.1 mg of thiamine (B1), 1.4 mg of riboflavin (B2), 16 mg of niacin (B3), 6 mg of pantothenic acid (B5), 1.4 mg of vitamin B6, 50 µg of biotin (B7), 200 µg of folic acid (B9) and 2.5 µg of vitamin B12, as well as 80 mg of vitamin C and 12 mg of vitamin E. The amount of each vitamin in the tablet is 100% of its nutrient reference value (NRV). The package contains 90 tablets, i.e. 90 daily doses, which last three months with regular use.

What are B vitamins?

B vitamins are a group of water-soluble vitamins that includes eight vitamins: thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, biotin, folate and vitamin B12. The body does not store most of them for long, so they need to be obtained from food regularly. B vitamins are found, for example, in whole-grain products, meat products, fish, eggs, dairy products, legumes and green leafy vegetables. Naturally, vitamin B12 is obtained mainly from foods of animal origin. Folic acid is a synthetic form of folate used in food supplements and fortified foods. Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is also a water-soluble vitamin, and good sources of it are fruit, vegetables and berries. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin found mainly in vegetable oils, nuts and seeds.

How to use?

Take 1 serving, i.e. 1 tablet, a day before the first meal. One tablet is also the recommended daily dose, which must not be exceeded. Taking the tablet in the morning before eating is easy to remember and helps turn it into a daily habit. The 90 tablets in the package last for 90 days, i.e. about three months. If you take other food supplements containing vitamins at the same time, such as multivitamins, take their vitamin content into account as well. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before long-term use.
