BiotechUSA Mushroom Complex – four mushroom species in one capsule

BiotechUSA Mushroom Complex is a food supplement that combines four mushrooms known in Asian cuisine and tradition in a single capsule: cordyceps, reishi, shiitake and lion's mane. Cordyceps is present as mycelium powder, while the other three mushrooms are included as fruiting body extracts. The daily amount is 2 capsules, which contain 200 mg of each mushroom, 800 mg of mushrooms in total. The pack contains 60 capsules, i.e. 30 daily servings, so one container lasts a whole month. The capsule shell is made of gelatine. The product was developed by the Hungarian sports and health product manufacturer BioTechUSA.

Four mushrooms

The four mushrooms in the product differ in origin, appearance and use:

• Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) – a mushroom known from the high mountains of the Himalayas. The product uses cultivated mycelium, which is dried and ground into a powder.
• Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) – a wood-growing mushroom with a hard, glossy cap that has been known in East Asian culture for millennia.
• Shiitake (Lentinus edodes) – an edible mushroom from East Asia, valued around the world above all for its flavour.
• Lion's mane (Hericium erinaceus) – a white mushroom whose long, hanging spines resemble a lion's mane; it is considered quite rare in the wild.

The fruiting body is the above-ground part of the mushroom that we usually recognise as a mushroom, while the mycelium is the thread-like main part of the fungus that grows in soil or wood.

How to use?

Take 2 capsules once a day with a meal and a glass of water. Do not exceed the recommended daily amount. The capsules are intended for daily use, and 60 capsules last for 30 days. Keep the container closed after use and out of reach of children.

Composition and allergen information

In addition to the four mushrooms, each of which makes up 15% of the capsule content, the product contains the bulking agent cellulose gel and the anti-caking agents silicon dioxide and magnesium salts of fatty acids. The capsule shell is made of gelatine. The product does not contain allergens among its ingredients, but other products are also processed at the production site.
