Opti-Women – multivitamin for active women, 60 capsules

Optimum Nutrition Opti-Women is a food supplement with vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts, formulated with the everyday diet of active women in mind. The daily dose is two capsules, providing 22 vitamins and minerals, including 14 mg of iron, 400 µg of folic acid, 150 mg of calcium and all of the B vitamins. The daily dose also contains five speciality ingredients: alpha lipoic acid, garlic extract, grape seed extract, citrus bioflavonoids and lutein. The pack contains 60 capsules, or 30 daily doses, which lasts about a month at the recommended use. Opti-Women suits those who want to supplement their diet with one simple daily product instead of taking several separate vitamin and mineral products.

Vitamins and minerals

Two capsules provide, for example, 225 mg of vitamin C (281% NRV), 10 µg of vitamin D (200% NRV), 9.0 µg of vitamin B12 (360% NRV), 14 mg of iron (100% NRV) and 12 mg of zinc (120% NRV).

How to use?

Take two capsules a day with food and swallow them with a glass of water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you use other food supplements containing vitamins or minerals at the same time, take their amounts into account too, especially for iron, vitamin A and vitamin D. Taking the capsules at the same time every day, for example with breakfast or lunch, helps you remember them. At the recommended use, one pack lasts 30 days.

Ingredients and quality

The minerals are provided in several forms: calcium as calcium carbonate and calcium citrate, magnesium as magnesium oxide, iron as ferrous fumarate, zinc as zinc oxide, selenium as L-selenomethionine and chromium as chromium picolinate. Vitamin E is provided as D-alpha-tocopheryl acid succinate, vitamin B3 as nicotinamide and vitamin D as cholecalciferol (D3). Of the plant ingredients, the daily dose contains 10 mg of garlic extract, 10 mg of grape seed extract and 3.5 mg of citrus bioflavonoids powder, plus 20 mg of alpha lipoic acid and 2.0 mg of lutein.
