OstroVit Vitamin D3 + K2 + Calcium is a food supplement in tablet form that combines calcium, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 (MK-7). Calcium is a mineral the body needs in large amounts, which is why it is classed as a macronutrient. Almost 99% of the body's calcium is found in the bones and teeth, the rest in body fluids and soft tissues. The main dietary sources of calcium are milk and dairy products, as well as sunflower and sesame seeds, kale, nuts and tofu. Vitamin D3, or cholecalciferol, is a fat-soluble vitamin obtained from food such as oily sea fish and also produced in the skin under sunlight. Vitamin K2, or menaquinone, is also fat-soluble; this product uses the MK-7 form obtained from a Bacillus subtilis natto culture. All three ingredients are combined in one tablet, so they are easy to take together.

How to use?

Take one serving, i.e. 2 tablets, a day before meals. Since vitamins D and K are fat-soluble, the product can be taken before a main meal. Before use, it is advisable to have your blood 25(OH)D level tested and to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose, and if you also use other supplements containing vitamin D, vitamin K or calcium, take their amount into account. One package lasts 45 days.

OstroVit Vitamin D3 + K2 + Calcium is suitable for adults who want to supplement their daily diet with calcium and vitamins D and K, for example those who consume few dairy products and little oily fish or spend little time in the sun. It is not suitable for people with impaired renal function or for people taking anticoagulants containing vitamin K antagonists (e.g. warfarin and acenocoumarol). The product is made in a facility that also uses milk, soy, peanuts, other nuts, cereals containing gluten, eggs, crustaceans and fish, so it may contain traces of them.
