Dymatize ISO-100 is a whey protein powder in which all of the protein comes from whey protein isolate and its hydrolysed form. One scoop (30–33 g, depending on the flavour) provides 25 g of protein with only 110–120 kcal, about 1 g of sugar and 1 g of fat. According to the manufacturer, the whey is filtered to remove excess lactose, carbohydrates, fat and sugar, so the protein content per serving is high and the shake stays light. Depending on the flavour, the 900 g pack provides approximately 27–30 servings. ISO-100 is one of the best-known products of the American sports nutrition brand Dymatize and can be mixed with water, milk or a plant-based drink.

Protein

Flavours and ingredients

All flavours are based on hydrolysed whey protein isolate and whey protein isolate. Depending on the flavour, cocoa powder, partially defatted peanut flour, flavourings, salt, potassium chloride and soy lecithin are added. Sweetness comes from the sweeteners sucralose and steviol glycosides (only sucralose in Chocolate Peanut Butter), which is why a serving contains only about 1 g of sugar. A serving of Gourmet Chocolate, Fudge Brownie and Chocolate Peanut Butter is slightly larger (32–33 g) than one of Gourmet Vanilla, Strawberry and Cookies & Cream (30 g), but all of them contain 25 g of protein.
