Now Foods Natural Resveratrol is a food supplement in which each vegetarian capsule contains 400 mg of Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) root extract, providing 200 mg of natural trans-resveratrol. The capsule also contains 10 mg of alcohol-free red wine extract made from the skins of grapes (Vitis vinifera) and standardised for polyphenols. The recommended daily dose is one capsule and the bottle contains 60 capsules, so one pack lasts for two months. What is resveratrol?

Resveratrol is a plant compound belonging to the polyphenols that occurs naturally, for example, in the skins of red grapes and in some berries.
