Evolite AAKG – arginine alpha-ketoglutarate in powder form

Evolite AAKG is a powdered food supplement whose main ingredient is arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, or AAKG. The product also contains a small amount of taurine. One serving is 2.5 g, i.e. one scoop of powder, containing 2450 mg of AAKG and 50 mg of taurine. The powder is unflavoured and contains no sweeteners, flavourings or colours. The package contains 400 g of powder, which makes 160 servings, so with one serving a day a jar lasts a very long time. To prepare the drink, simply mix the powder with water.

What is AAKG?

AAKG is a compound made up of the amino acid arginine and alpha-ketoglutaric acid. Arginine is one of the amino acids that make up proteins. The body can produce it itself, but arginine is also obtained from food – it is found in protein-rich foods such as fish, meat, dairy products, nuts, seeds and legumes. Alpha-ketoglutaric acid is an organic acid that is formed naturally in the body. Taurine is a sulphur-containing organic compound found naturally in fish, seafood and meat. No nutrient reference value (NRV) has been established for arginine, AAKG or taurine, so no percentage is given for them in the table.

How to use?

Dissolve one serving, i.e. 1 scoop (2.5 g) of powder, in 200 ml of water and drink. Use the product once a day. One serving is also the recommended daily dose, which must not be exceeded. Stir the drink thoroughly until the powder has completely dissolved. If you also use other products containing arginine or taurine, take their amounts into account. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. The best before date (month/year) and batch number are printed on the bottom of the package.
