Evolite Nutrition Marine Collagen is a powdered food supplement whose main ingredient is hydrolysed collagen peptides obtained from fish. The product also contains MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. One 5.8 g serving (2 scoops) provides 4500 mg of fish collagen peptides, 500 mg of MSM, 60 mg of hyaluronic acid as sodium hyaluronate and 80 mg of vitamin C, which is 100% of the nutrient reference value. The package contains 300 g of powder, i.e. 51 servings. The powder is sweetened with sucralose and available in several fruit flavours; you get the drink by mixing the powder with water.

Collagen is a protein and the main structural protein of connective tissue in humans and animals. The collagen in Marine Collagen is obtained from fish and, according to the manufacturer, it is type I collagen. Hydrolysis breaks the long collagen molecules down into smaller peptides, which is why the powder dissolves well in water and the drink is smooth. MSM, or methylsulfonylmethane, is an organic sulphur compound that is also found in small amounts in some foods. Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide produced by the body itself; in the product it is present as sodium hyaluronate. Vitamin C is added as L-ascorbic acid. As the collagen is obtained from fish, the product contains fish.

How to use?

Dissolve one serving, i.e. 5.8 g of powder (2 scoops), in 200 ml of water. Drink once a day immediately after preparation. One serving is also the recommended daily dose, which must not be exceeded. Stir the drink thoroughly until the powder has completely dissolved. The product is intended for adults and is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. The best before date (month/year) and batch number are printed on the bottom of the package.
