Animal Creatine Chews – creatine monohydrate in chewable tablets

Animal Creatine Chews is a food supplement from the Animal line by Universal Nutrition, with creatine monohydrate packed in flavoured chewable tablets. Four chewable tablets, or one serving, provide 5 g of creatine monohydrate, and each serving also contains 25 mg of AstraGin® (Panax notoginseng and astragalus root extract) and 25 mg of sea salt. The jar holds 120 chewable tablets, or 30 servings. The tablets do not need to be mixed with water or in a shaker – you simply chew them, which makes them easy to carry and to take even when mixing a powder is not possible. How to use?

The recommended daily dose is four chewable tablets, which together provide 5 g of creatine monohydrate. Chew the tablets and swallow. The manufacturer recommends taking the chewable tablets before or after a workout. The manufacturer does not recommend increasing the daily amount, so do not take more than four tablets a day. If you use other creatine-containing products at the same time, take their amounts into account too. Keep the jar tightly closed after use.

Ingredients and flavours

The chewable tablets of both flavours contain the same active ingredients: 5 g of creatine monohydrate, 25 mg of AstraGin® and 25 mg of sea salt per serving. The tablet base consists of sugar, dextrose and maltodextrin, and it also contains stearic acid, citric acid, magnesium stearate and malic acid. The colour comes from beetroot powder, and besides sugar the sweetness comes from sucralose and acesulfame K. Fruit Punch contains natural and artificial flavourings, while according to the manufacturer's ingredient list Grape contains a natural flavouring. The chewable tablets are made in a cGMP and HACCP certified facility on equipment that also processes milk, soy, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat and sesame.
