What is lion's mane?

Lion's mane (Hericium erinaceus) is an edible mushroom that grows mainly in deciduous forests on weakened, old or dead broadleaf trees. It is easy to recognise: the fruiting body resembles a cluster of hanging icicles with individual spines 2–6 cm long. The young mushroom is white and later turns yellowish and brownish. Its unusual appearance gave the mushroom its name, as the fruiting body resembles a lion's mane. The mushroom has a characteristic aroma often compared to seafood and is a well-known edible mushroom in East Asian cuisines. OstroVit uses a mushroom extract standardised to 30% polysaccharides with an extraction ratio of 30:1.

How to use?

Take one serving, i.e. 1 capsule, a day with a meal and a sufficient amount of water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If you take medication, consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. One package lasts 60 days with the recommended use.
