Mutant Mass XXXTREME 2500 is a food supplement in powder form that combines carbohydrates, whey protein and MCT oil. On the EU label the product is called Mutant Mass Extreme 2500. One 285 g serving (4 scoops) provides 1070 kcal of energy, 231 g of carbohydrates, 30 g of protein and 2.5 g of fat. The carbohydrate blend is based on maltodextrin, waxy maize starch, rice and sweet potato, while the protein part is a blend of three whey proteins. The fat part contains fractionated MCT coconut oil, avocado and pumpkin seed. The pack holds 2720 g of powder, which according to the label makes ten 285 g servings. Mutant is a Canadian brand.

Nutritional values per serving

According to the EU label of the Vanilla Ice Cream flavour, 100 g of powder contains 375 kcal, 81 g of carbohydrates, of which 2.46 g sugars, 11 g of protein, 0.9 g of fat and 1.1 g of fibre. In a 285 g serving this means 1070 kcal, 231 g of carbohydrates, 7 g of sugars, 30 g of protein and 3 g of fibre. The serving also contains 530 mg of potassium (27% NRV), 150 mg of calcium (19% NRV) and 6 mg of iron (43% NRV). The Cookies N Cream label gives the values per 570 g daily dose, which equals two servings. The values per 100 g of this flavour are the same, except for sugars (1.40 g) and sodium (56.1 mg). The EU label of the Triple Chocolate flavour does not include a nutrition table.

How to use?

To prepare in a blender, mix 1 serving (285 g) with 480 ml of cold water, milk or another drink and blend to the desired consistency. If the drink is too thick, add more liquid. A shaker needs more liquid: mix 1 serving with up to 720 ml of cold water, milk or another drink. Always pour in the liquid first and then add the powder. The recommended daily dose for Triple Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream is 4 scoops (285 g); the Cookies N Cream label states 8 scoops (570 g) as the daily dose, i.e. two servings a day. The product is packed by weight, not by volume, so the powder may settle after packaging.

All flavours are sweetened with sucralose and contain milk, soy and coconut. Triple Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream are produced in a facility that also handles ingredients containing fish (collagen).
