What is L-glutamine?

L-glutamine is an amino acid – one of the roughly twenty amino acids that make up proteins. The human body can produce glutamine itself, but it is also obtained from food: glutamine is found in protein-rich foods such as meat products, fish, eggs, dairy products and legumes. In this food supplement, glutamine is in free form, i.e. as a single amino acid rather than as part of a protein.

Micronisation means that the powder has been milled very finely. A fine powder mixes with water more easily and the drink stays smoother. The note “fermented source” indicates that the glutamine has been produced by microorganisms in a fermentation process. How to use?
